Bradford City United - Call

Artist Hafsah Naib wishes to engage communities in Bradford around football and lifestyle.  With the recent high profile achievements shown by league two team Bradford City, 30,000 Bradfordians made their way to Wembley to support Bradford City in the Capital One Final at one of the worlds leading sporting venues.  As a qualified FA coach and player Hafsah has an active interest in the beautiful game and is looking for similar minded fans from Bradford who would like to work with her in the making of some photography work and artist film.

Our Trip to Wembley
These people can only be described as 'coach spotters' lining the entrance to Wembley.  Our coach was in hysterics as the equivalent of a third of our journey time from Bradford to Wembley was spent queing to get in to the stadium!  Thanks coachspotters everywhere for being so serious and professional looking and giving everyone on Big Green Coaches a pause for thought or a wee giggle.

It was a terrible day. Our mum remembers it well, avid watcher of Bradford City as she was in the mid eighties and the shock is still quite tangible to all those whose lives were affected by the fire at Valley Parade.  Always remember.

The roars and cheers when City came out onto the pitch was like something out of Gladiator.  Only we weren't the ones with Maximus as it turned out.  But at the point of taking this picture City fans were emphatically optimistic and Hanson was our very own Maximus!

Number 9 composes himself.  Beautfiul.

We still are Bradford City - finalists of Capital One 2013, City of Film, Curry Capital of Engalnd, home of the first music specialist primary school in the UK....
